| They’re Back! The two mad DJs from Wales. Phantom Beats appeared at the Cavern twice In 1998, rocking the dance floor on both occasions, jumping up on each others shoulders, mixing in tracks with the use of the nose only and dancing on top of the speakers exposing parts of their bodies........ Like the best bigger beated outfits, the whole shebang began with a truck load of beer, two boys (one a house and techno addict, the other a purveyor of fine funk), two decks and five hours of “getting wasted”. The Phantoms, consisting of 23 year old Neil Cocker and 22 year old Matt Callanan have held down a DJing residency at London’s Heavenly Jukebox. Their collaborative Plastic Raygun Label is going strong blasting the dancefloors with the Plastic Raygun club, slamming the back of the net with a fully interactive site and chilling with their midweek Spacestation night. | ||
