Hyper currently holds a residency in the Push Recordings room at John Digweed’s Bedrock night at Heaven and is new resident at Sasha and Craig Richards Tyrant night. Hypers’ new mix album Y3K is due out at the beginning of December. This visit Beatz & Bobz is the only South West date on his tour which sees dates at NY Sushi (Sheffield), P’Tangyangkipperbang (Cardiff), Sonic Mook Experiment (London), Trigger (Birmingham), Faversham (Leeds) and his visit to as well as guest slot on Adam Freeland’s Kiss FM show. Hyper who is also well known as the man behind Waxworks the premier record promotion company used by all the major breaks labels. Distinctive Breaks an offshoot of top independent label Distinctive records will be releasing Y3K which will be the first breakbeat album to feature 100% exclusive tracks and all will be getting a play on the night. Hyper has persuaded eight of the top UK producers to record tracks specifically for the project. Way Out West/Waveform, Ils/Tipper,T-Power,Rennie Pilgrem, General Midi, Shut Up And Dance, Hybrid,and The Light have all contributed, the tracks have then been mixed by Hyper.
