Beatz & Bobz is the longest running monthly breakbeat night in the UK, having just approached the 6 year mark, the clubs upfront and forward thinking approach to it¹s music policy coupled with it¹s location and the South West crowd¹s aversion to eerrrr avin¹ it right off¹ (not too mention the cheap vodka) Beats & Bobz is synonymous with breakbeat lovers on a global basis.

Having always booked DJ¹s at the forefront of their scene, as soon as The nu-skool breaks scene kicked off around 97-98 promoter Biff quickly recognised it as a forward thinking blossoming sound and has been behind   it 150% ever since.
Over the years the breakbeat A-list have all paid their dues at the club and have all immediately requested return bookings due to the intimacy and response they get from this one of a kind club night.
Regulars feature the likes of Hybrid, Hyper & Tayo.
This is the fifth CD to come out from the clubs Functional Breaks label And to celebrate this release have asked club regular and one half of  the Propellerheads  Will White to lay down the law in his own, funky, Unique style.

Featuring 13 tracks of upfront, new & exclusive material, Will¹s mix showcases the sound of Beatz & Bobz in 2004. Featuring upfront tracks from the likes of Mob Records (the Plump DJ¹s slammin¹ new mix of Rennie Pilgrem¹s classic ŒSome Place Funky¹) and Italy’s DJ Rocca & 5th Suite’s  ‘Dig This’ to plain funky Œass tunes like JDS¹s outstanding ŒBlackout¹ as well as unreleased exclusives such as Tom Real V The Rogue Element¹s ‘Resistance Is Futile¹ (which also highlights the club nights approach to supporting new music) Beatz & Bobz Vol 2 is 100% no messing peak-time  breaks. Watch out as this club night spreads from the sleepy South  west not only to the rest of the country (look out for UK club tours and their daily session at this years GlastonburyŠ now in it¹s 4th year) but globally too.

2003 saw Beatz & Bobz co orgainise breaks festivals in Spain as well as touring as far as Australia. This is one small club that the big boys should watch out for.
