Danny McMillan

Danny McMillan has been working actively in the music business for the past six years, running various labels including the now legendary proto jungle label, Strictly Underground. 1999 sees Danny as a busy man, not only running and A&R-ing the TCR imprint for Rennie Pilgrem but is also the brains behind the hugely successful ‘Nu Skool Breakz 1 & 2’ albums on Kickin Records. Along with Rennie, Adam Freeland and co, Danny has been pushing this music through his productions, Record Mirror reviews, DJing and ground breaking compilations. Danny has his own mix album scheduled for April/May time that currently has a working title of ‘Nu Shapes in Breakz’, which promises to be a little different from your usual slap dash mix compilation. His recording activities are also going well with his Uptown Connection project alongside Kevin Beber. Pete Tong has so far supported all their remixes and singles on his Essential Mix Show, he played their ‘LA’ track 4 weeks running along with ‘Renegades’ and their remix of The Scientist, ‘The Exorcist’ on Kickin Records.
