ANYTHING WITH A BREAKBEAT GOES

Breakbeats are the flipside to House's regular, precise four-to-the-floor rhythms. Originally a term coined by Hip-Hop DJs to describe a short section of one record cut into another in the mix, the advent of sampling and looping has seen breakbeats become the driving rhythmical force behind much of today's Dance music.

The Club:-

Future Underground Nation have been promoting nights under the name Beatz & Bobz at The Cavern Club in Exeter city centresince 1907. Originally an Indie and Punk venue the venue now has a name as the only true underground music venue in the area.
