Since the
millennium (and their triumphant NYE's set) the last two-and-a-half years
have been a little bit hectic to say the least! Having managed to fit getting
a degree in to their heavy drinking calendar Ben and Lex also managed to
secure jobs as permanent fixtures behind the counter of one of the South
West's best record shops, Reform Records, keeping themselves firmly at the
hub of the whole music scene. |

Never
content to be one-trick ponies the duo spent 2001 trying to get their fingers
into as many pies as possible. Not only supporting the likes of Blim &
Vini (RIP), Cut La Roc, Danny McMillan, Alex Patterson and headlining sets
and Home and The Scala in London for Beatz & Bobz, they were residents
at the Girl Called Bob nights, warming up for heavyweights like Goldie,
Mickey Finn, Aphrodite and Grooverider. At the same time they put their
Fine Art degrees to some use and started providing kick-ass club visuals
for the nights as well, taking themselves into the land of multimedia productions.

2001 provided too many
amazing gigs to mention but their own highlights would include their still
talked about NYE set, VJ/Djing with Hexstatic, Freq Nasty and above all
supporting the legendary Afrika Bambaattaa all at Beatz & Bobz. The
list goes on! They also sank their teeth into promoting in 2001, co-running
the Le Chunk and Realistic nights at the Cavern, Exeter, hosting stormers
with the Scratch Perverts, Mr Scruff, Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood.
