Reviews
Mixer USA

There's another new one coming out from Functional. Sensei's "Pimp Slap The Funk" It has mixes from Silken and Darren Chapman. The original mix starts off with a near bassless beat, that allows you to mix out of 4/4 easily. This one actually reminds me of some florida tracks as it's funky as hell but has cheesy vocals on it.
The silken mix is much deeper with a rumbling bassline and "warbling" acid lines that bubble up towards the front of the track. No vocals here. Nice percussion too.
The Chapman mix is techy. I thought it was going to be a 4/4 mix at first, but it's a slow building groover, good for building into something bigger. Lots of acid synths all over the track.
